As an avid fan of scruff, I appreciate the fashion world’s discerning taste for a man whose face looks above the age of thirteen. Not saying I endorse the looks in this slideshow, just giving a nod to the concept — I prefer a more subtle variation:

Hands down the highlight of my morning, pre-brunch and post-running: Lisa Birnbach (author of The Official Preppy Handbook and True Prep) has a Tumblr. Tragically going to be blocking Tumblr, Twitter, and Facebook for the next 8 hours due to impending paper-writing and test-prepping, but this was worth browsing before the shut-out. Love her.

Casually was browsing the Houghton Mifflin (@HMHCo) website because Nick Scobbo, their SVP of Human Resources is speaking at an information session I’m attending tomorrow. In the midst of casually browsing I came across this little plug for two of the computer games that were all the rage in the 90s…Oregon Trail and Carmen Sandiego.
I’m assuming HMH must own the rights? All I know is I’m tempted to click through. Reallllly tempted…
