One of my favorite times of day. Before it’s completely dark out when the sky looks like it’s been painted on and the ocean is a deep navy blue like velvet with a sliver sheen slinking across the surface in time to the waves rippling the water. And the bridge lights sparkle like diamonds in a necklace tossed carelessly across the expanse of clouds and color. And you can smell the salt and the warmth and the lush green of late summer days cooling into night.
