I was lucky enough to have a certain Mr. Richard Flynn as a teacher, may he rest in peace, and in the time I was lucky enough to spend with him, I always admired the fact that he used such optimistic terms. Also, when you view them this way, you remind yourself that as annoying as studying and cramming may be, you’re doing it because you have a chance to be exceptionally good at something. Doesn’t really make you feel better about having 100+ pages to read, but I feel like if you keep reminding yourself eventually you’ll have to feel better about exams. Fingers crossed here.
